PoliceLine: Radar Recertification and DataMaster Recertification MAY NOT be videotaped. Recerts MUST be viewed on the air date and are tested. Departments are urged to have their officers needing DataMaster or Radar Recertification training watch the recert broadcasts at least 30-60 days prior to the officers’ expiration dates. This will help prevent problems associated with technical difficulties should they arise. Teleclasses are self-contained, one-time presentations of not more than three hours duration, dealing with the review and update of one specific subject or topic.
Legal Update This
TELECLASS will deal
with specific changes and developments in the existing law and will
also include a section dealing with timely topics, subject to change
throughout the year. The course format will include case study by
videotaped scenarios and lecture, as well as discussion of
particular topics with guests.
