ABSENCES & MEDICAL SITUATIONS

Three reasons a student may be absent, after approval of the Basic Training Coordinator, are:  Court (need subpoena), illness, and family or other emergencies.  Basic Jail Students missing more than one day (8 hours) of instruction will be recycled to another Basic Jail class to complete the training which was missed and continue their training.  Basic Law students missing more than three days of instruction will be recycled to another Basic Law class to complete missed training. Special Basic Students (attending only the first three or four weeks of the 9-week course) who miss more than 1 day (8 hours) of instruction will be recycled to another Basic Law class to complete missed training. Basic 911 students missing more than one day (8 hours) of instruction will be recycled to another Basic 911 class to complete training, and any Basic 911 student receiving two (2) demerits will be dismissed from class.   

Students with allergies and unusual medical conditions need to inform the Training Coordinator's Office as soon as possible.
