1. Courses offered on the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy campus are open for registration from officers in all Training Regions.

2. Courses offered in the Field are also being opened to officers throughout the state.
   NOTE: Priority will be given to officers residing within the training offering area.

3. All courses contained in the training calendars (held at SCCJA or field) will apply to recertification credit (Continuing Law Enforcement Education hours - CLEE).

4. One LEGAL UPDATE teleclass and one CDV telecourse for Class 1 certified Law Enforcement should be obtained each year prior to your certification anniversary date.

5. Advanced courses are NOT mandatory. However, prerequisites have been established for many advanced courses. If an officer does not meet prerequisite requirements, that officer will not be allowed to attend.

Slot requests for all Advanced courses must be received by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy prior to May 14, 2004. Please submit the Advanced SCCJA Training Request Form (pdf format) (Word format) or Advanced Field Training Request Form (pdf format) (Word format). For all teleclasses, recertifications, and legal updates, the hosting agency must be contacted to confirm slot.

You are required to submit your officer's name and Social Security Number for each requested class.  (If you cannot provide a name at this time, you may list the desired number of slots.)

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  It is NOT necessary to pre-register for DataMaster or RADAR Recertification teleclasses.
